I have never made a needy wish before and don't like having to make one now. With our unexpected five hundred and three dollar electric bill, money is going to be beyond tight next month. Everything seems to be going wrong at once. WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS! What I need is an umbrella...so to speak. We need money to help make things easier with food, gas, toilet paper, ex. If we could just get a little relief, I know I can get things back on track. Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much:)

a FLIPPER!

Flipper? I need a “flipper” but not THAT kind of “Flipper,” although it was my favorite show as a young child. What I need is to be able to smile again. I have been having major dental problems. I guess I have come full circle, because I wished for dental help for my very first wish here. I haven’t made a wish in a very long time, but dental problems is the most depressing topic in my life, next to financial problems. I have had major problems even though I am a fanatic about flossing, brushing, and taking care of my teeth. Lack of insurance and money has caused me to lose some, others I have lost to reasons no one seems to be able to tell me. I had beautiful teeth, and a beautiful smile. My parents spent thousands on braces. My smile was one of my assets. I now never smile, or I cover my mouth when I laugh. However, this can be taken care of soon if I am able to get an “interim” partial, sometimes affectionately called a “flipper,” by dentists. The trouble is, if insurance covers the “flipper,” they will not pay for partials for FIVE years! I will be able to get my partials in Jan. or Feb., and they will be covered. But I must pay for this “flipper” out of pocket. I would love to be able to smile again, but need 275.00 to be able to do so!

With all the emphasis on healthcare lately, I wish someone would bring up dental. It is so sad. If we are very ill, we can go to the E.R. no matter if we have no money. However, with dental care, unless you are a child, there is no help and many end up losing all their teeth or with problems that have gotten out of control and cost 10X the amount they would’ve cost if they were able to get care sooner. I have heard dentists who volunteer in poor areas say that some of the uninsured end up having every tooth in their head pulled by the time they find help. One said it is like a “third world country.” This is America, everyone! Why is no one addressing this problem? This is a topic I feel strongly about, but I will get off my soapbox now.

Cool summer nights

I am roasting!!!!! My bedroom is a corner room and bakes during the first part of the day. Even though we have central AC my room stays an average temp of 84 degrees. And this is with my vent opened all the way and a portable fan. Ugh!!
I found this window fan at Walmart for $43.00, after tax it is $46.76 and the rest should cover paypal fees. There is one that is 10.00 cheaper but it has a lower rating and I really, really want something good enough to keep me cool at night.

18 races into the season and I am wanting RaceView even more now! Jimmie Johnson is still in 3rd place and I would love to be able to keep up with his stats as he races through the Chase. It would allow me to watch the races on my computer, as well as hear the audio and see all the stats right there. I do not want to go to my room to watch the race. It was a warm summer night in 1997

when I first met her.

I was walking home from the Bronze, the local hangout. It's not a hip club, but in a small town like Sunnydale, you take what you can get. I had stayed out way too late and, being scared of the dark, I was jumping at every noise and shadow.

Unfortunately, one of those shadows jumped back. And it had fangs. I was face-to-face with a vampire. Believe in them or not, I sure became a believer when his teeth were inches from my throat! I closed my eyes and prepared to die when suddenly the pressure left my neck and the vampire flew backwards. I watched in amazement as a little blonde and her hunky, dark-haired boyfriend quickly knocked Mr. Vamp to the ground and introduced him to the pointy end of a wooden stake. I stood in shock as the leftover vampire ashes were carried away by a breeze.

I had just become one in a long line of people to be saved by Buffy and Angel. It was a night that changed my life. I now know that there ARE scary monsters and things that hide under your bed. But I wouldn't change a thing.

I consider Buffy, Willow, and Xander my close friends and even though Angel has moved on to L.A. (and OMG will Buffy EVER get over him?) I like to keep in touch.

I'm pretty much a wimp, prissy girl ~ I don't have any slayer strength and I'm certainly not a kick-ass Wicca, so I NEED Buffy and company to watch my back and keep me safe from the things that go bump in the night.

But, I need YOUR help for that. You see, I've watched my Buffy DVDs so often that I'm wearing them out. I need to replace Season 4. And I've just recently been able to collect the Angel series DVDs, but I'm still missing the last season ~ number 5.

Ok, this is the thing.

They announced months ago that Sims 3 was in the works and would be available for purchase in June. And I told myself no. I said I didn't want it. I didn't even read anything about it, because I knew if I did, I would want it. So, I basically ignored it all until..... June happened.

Why wouldn't I want it? Well, I have a lot invested in the Sims 2. Not only money, the money isn't important (lol), but in the lives of my Simmies. If I quit playing Sims 2 in favor of Sims 3.... how will I ever know if Jack Stevens ends up meeting his lifetime aspiration of Woo Hooing with 25 sim women or if Rosa Contender ever rises from the dead and turns into a zombie?

Because, see.... I'm pretty sure if I get Sims 3 and I load it into the computer, not only am I going to waste all of my allotted Sims time on it, I will also have to uninstall all of my Sims 2 games. I'm pretty sure not everything will fit.

And I was fine with all of this.... not giving in to temptation and going with my same old Sims 2 routines.... until I repeatedly saw the commercials for Sims 3.

You know me. You know my addiction. You know I need to have it. Besides having cooler, more realistic looking Simmies, you also get to pick any personality traits you want (which you cannot really do with Sims 2). I also heard that you get to leave your houses and wander! Which doesn't seem like a big thing until you realize that with Sims 2 you have to either buy a car or call a cab and wait for an entire new screen to load (which depending on your computer speed and available space and downloads can take either 5 seconds or 5 minutes)

While I will miss my beloved Simmies from Sims 2, the great thing about the game is I can make them all over again in Sims 3. And maybe not accidentally kill them this time.

The Sims 3 is $49.95 of they have the special collectors edition (which comes with a Plumbob 2 gig usb plug in, a guide and special items!) which is $69.95. (more)

prayers and help for my family after husband had motorcycle

On Saturday June 13th my husband was in a motorcyle wreck and was in uams little rock arkansas for 13 days in ICU and has brain injuries and neck and spine. He was on a ventilator and is the only income our family has as he was an over the road truck driver before his accident. He has medical insurance but it does not cover everything and I have been sitting at the hospital day and night and will be for a long while as I cannot leave his side. We have 7 children at home and I am needing any help at all with anything would be appreciated whether it be gift cards, assistance to get food or even donations to help pay some of our household expenses that will pile up. Now he has been transferred out to Baptist Health for Rehab and we are over 100 miles from home.He is still fighting the brain injuries and what he knows one day he does not always know the next and it is making therapy a challenge for him. But no matter what please everyone pray for him.He is paralyzed from all this and right now just has use of arms. I really need help every little penny helps.. Also god hears all the prayers please pray for him his name is Wayne. one of these memory foam pillows for my bad neck

I have a slipped cervical disc C5/6 in my neck and for some reason I can't sleep on a regular pillow without my ears waking me up burning and in absolute pain. I have been using a very small travel pillow that is actually meant for your back ans I really need a full size one otherwise I end up flat on my back. I put this in needy b/c it is ver important to my health. I have included the link to the site where I foundit for $19.95 and shipping is about $6 then tax I assume so $30 should cover it. Well, the Navy seeks out only the finest sword makers in the world, who handcraft these marvels out of forged stainless steal, 24 carat gold, and stingray skin.

This particular sword, shown only in the final image of the video, is a special edition blade, made for the Centennial of the Canadian Navy which will be coming in the Spring. I am lookin to get tall:) I found this website with so many shoes that are soooooo cute. The ones pictured are the ones Im wanting and I MUST have them.(most likely in black tho so I can wear them more) The prices are awesome. Ive compared other places and even with shipping this is the cheapest way to go.

My man is so sweet and likes to take me out but I always resist going anywhere nice because I dont really have nice clothing,and especially no nice dress up shoes.

I dont wanna make the fellow show lovers cry but I seriously own 2 pairs of dollar general flipflops,both purchased a year or two ago, one pair of "cutting grass" tennis shoes, one pair of used running sneakers and a pretty badly chewn on by a puppy pair of ballet flats. Sad and pretty pathetic I know. But when we go out,even when its cold,the flip flops are the in the best condition so those are what my outfit must be built around.
