I have battled with depression & anxiety off & on for years.
2 years ago I ended up having a nervous breakdown & had to start on medications. I have an anxiety disorder that keeps bringing back my depression. I have to be on my medications indefinetly.
I am a sexual abuse survivor which is why I have these problems. I had been molested for several years by a close friend of my family (who was trusted to be my babysitter). I had been in therapy up until a year ago, but I couldn't afford to keep seeing my therapist. So I rely soley on my medications to help me get through each day, be strong & get out there & face the world. I need to be strong to be the best mom I can be to my sons, and the best wife I can be to my husband.
Due to our financial troubles lately, I'm having difficulty coming up with the money I need for the co-pays to get my prescriptions. The amount of money that I'm asking for will get me enough medicine for 2 months. After that time, I'm hoping to be a little better off financially & won't struggle to keep getting my meds.
Please, from my heart, if you ever expect that a child is being abused, don't hesitate to tell somebody! And, if you are the one being abused, it's NOT your fault. Go & tell somebody you know & trust what is going on... right now! Abuse needs to stop & stricter laws NEED to be enforced! My life has been forever altered due to somebody's perverted impulses that he could not control.
