The Music School, Nepal Sangeet Vidhyalaya is the outcome of the vision which is the cooperation program between Music Nepal
and Rikskonsertene (Norwegian Concert Institute). With the aim to establish model music school in Nepal this school is established for the development, piloting and implementation of a curriculum for music in schools for ages 6-18, based on Nepali and western Music. It is not for profit organisation and it sponsors many students from rural areas.
Currently we are continuosly seeking sponsors from all over the world to help us sponsor as many students as we can. Also, we need to establish a music library for preserving heritage and allowing students from rural areas to learn. We also send these students for their normal education and provide food and accomodation. I am not sure if this is a right place but I am convinced that there might be lots of Music lovers there who would understand the value of establishing such a school in a third world country.
