My daughter is showing signs of being ready to start potty-training, but my husband is having a dumb moment (long one lol,
but still love him). When I bring up getting a potty seat, he tells me it's between me and his mom. He doesn't get that 1. It's not his mom's job to buy a potty chair and she's already helped us enough 2. He is going to have to participate in the training. Not that he's a bad daddy, he just being unintentionally blockheaded. As I've stated in a previous wish, my income isn't stable, so I can't just head over to the store and grab one myself. As it is, the money will have to come from his checking account and it's barely covering all our needs. However, getting the potty seat and getting my daughter out of diapers will save us money in the long run. It costs about thirty dollars a month to buy diapers, a decent potty costs less than 40 and will last at least several months. (more)

Good luck with potty training it can take a while. Keep the floor cleaner handy! LOL As far as your hubby goes...I still haven't figured that one out. Good luck with him too! :D

check out the little potty rings that go on a toilet.. I have had 6 kids and been doing child care for over 26 years, and have never used a potty chair. The little rings are really cute and they come with cartoon charactors Good luck on her potty training.

Be sure and take your daughter with you when you go to buy it. My grandson had 3 potty chairs and wouldn't use any of them! He finally is starting to use one of those seats that sits on a regular toilet seat...lol lol
So, before you waste your money on something she won't use. Take her and let her pick it out...lol lol
