Ok,the title may give you a bit of the wrong impression.
I'm not a drinking man, but I have acquired a taste for a nice glass of wine. The problem I had was that I never had wine on hand when I wanted some (generally after 9), so I picked up a wine rack. But even so, on a student budget, wine can get pretty expensive.
This wish is to fill up my wine rack with my favourite wines, and maybe a couple I haven't tried yet. Right now I have a Canadian Whisky, a Scottish Ginger Wine made by the Hutchison Clan, and a Rossini Strawberry Champagne from Italy. Since the champagne is earmarked for ellen and my anniversary on Wednesday night, it won't last long beyond the kickoff of the new wish round. That will leave 6 spots in my wine rack.
My favourite is a Chardonney, by Naked Grape, a Canadian winemaker from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. They also make a few reds that are appealing. I've tried and enjoyed their Merlot, but I would like to try their Shiraz and Cabernat Sauvingon.
Another that I've tried recently and absolutely loved was a 2006 Raviner by Black Tower. It's a sweet German white, and I just fell in love with it!
That leaves 3 opennings; since the champagne is disappearing on Wednesday, I'd like to replace it with another Italian sparkling white, Asti. I'll keep my eye out for more Rossini if it's as good as it looks, but it seems to be scarce.
This last one isn't so much a favourite of mown, so much as for my parents, mightymom239 and KenH. I'd like to keep on hand a Jackson-Triggs Meritage, for when they visit. It's their favourite. I think it's the 2004 that they like best, but I'm sure they'll point it out when they see this.
So that's my wish for booze. Man, I'm a bad 21 year old, aren't I? Oh well, some people like beer, I like a nice glass of wine. (more)

You got my 5 ~s*t*a*r*s~ !!
Now Peter as you can see I have changed my vote but only on the condition that we have a nice, little wine101 class to raise your awareness on this vital cultural literacy subject! And, yes there will be a test ...
I wanna be invited over for the ginger wine....and hopefully meet the family!! take and stay well my friend..scotty
I dont like wine or beer. Sometimes a wine cooler or a mixed fruity drink but thats it, certainly not right now though lol.... Love your title....
Gotta love this wish! And the title made me laugh! I left you 5 *****, please take a minute and look at my wishes and see if you think they deserve the same!
Heres my 5 for you.
Good Luck!!!!
Got it, gave you and Ellen my 5 stars! Hope y'all enjoy a nice glass now and then!
best of luck! i like a glass myself now and then
I am with you on the wine over beer. Good luck and Cheers!
I wish I could send you a couple of bottles from my favorite local winery. Since I'm a member, 12 bottles of some of the best wine I've ever had cost 95.00-120.00.
Incidentally, I had a Canadian ice wine at a tasting last month & WOW. Its pricy here but I wonder if they have it near you for less? I love sweet wines, so this was a real treat! Its made from the sweetest grapes that are left on the vine until the first freeze of the year. Very few grapes hang around that long, so its pretty special. Anyhow, good luck on your wish!
Peter I'm telling you I have the wine knowledge you need!
Naked Grape is really good to and also pretty inexpensive!
In reality $100 should be able to buy you at least four nice bottles, there are so many brands that fall under $30.
Wine is good....
I love to have a NICE glass of wine with dinner....
Ahhhhh
Good luck
Booze a great wish!
Well, I don't think $100 will go very far in filling up a wine rack, unless it's a very small one but, ya got my vote.
Well as long as you share it! LOL
a glass of wine a day is good for you - at least that's what I hear

Giving you 5 stars. A glass of good wine with good company can't be beat.
I'll be back Peter, might I suggest a couple wineries from my area? I have tasted wines from both and they are excellent.

I use to ignore your wishes then I started downvoting them because they were annoying. Then you cut back on the wishes so I stopped downvoting. I will now make it my first priority each week to find your wishes and bestow on you a wonderful 1.
