Hi everyone! This is dolphinlady5 9 (aka Carol) best gal pal to Ranger Jan.
I'm making this wish for Kathy and Desiree (Jan's co-worker is Kathy & Desiree is her daughter with the brain tumor) to help them keep food in the house. Kathy has not been able to work since Thanksgiving of last year because she can not leave Desiree alone. Desiree's eyesight has deteriorated to the point that for all practical purposes I believe she would be considered legally blind. Kathy also unfortunately has no insurance to cover the mounting medical bills. Last week, she called Ranger Jan and while she did not ask for help with groceries, she did say that they were getting low on food. With Marta's help and Jan cleaning out her pantry and me buying some fresh meats, etc. we have been able to stock Kathy up for now, but that won't last very long! In another week or two she'll be in need of more food. If you can spare an extra can of soup, or beans or a box or rice or noodles, PM me and I'll send you an address of where to send it. As much as we both want to, neither Jan nor I can afford to support Kathy and Desiree. And Kathy is definitely a deserving lady! She always takes care of us up at the park! Hope you (and your friends) win this one! I've had neighbors drop food by my house these past few months and not only does it help immensely, it renews my faith in human kindness! Another donation idea (since food can be heavy and spendy to ship): Target or Walmart gift cards.... Good luck!

Is her daughter on Disability? She will automatically qualify if she is legaly blind.. That will help with all of those medical bills!
