The few times I do get to see my daughter are usually spent mostly on the road, driving back and forth to meet her mother
for the visitation. Just once I'd love to be able to take her out to go do something fun, like take her to the Ice Capades or something and then to a nice dinner. She's such a sweet girl and she's very smart so she understands that money has been really tight for us the last few years... but I'd like to be able to do something special for her.
I had posted this before, hoping to take her to see Disney on Ice "Princess Classics", but that's this weekend so obviously I can't do that. I'm sure I could come up with something else really cool though - there are lots of fun things for kids in our area and I know she would LOVE to do any of it. One of her favorite things to do is go to the movie with me and her step-mom-to-be followed by a nice dinner.
She's such a great kid and she deserves so much more than what's she's getting out of life right now. She deserves to be treated like the little princess she is. (more)
