WISH GRANTED
With the help of Scotty and Randy, I have found the perfect pair and they are much cheaper than what I originally

I changed my wish amount.
Justin has a very hard time blocking out noises around him. He works much better when it is completely silent. In school, there are 20 other students. At home, there's a little brother and a very loud big sister. He is extremely intelligent, but isn't able to accomplish the smallest school assignments because of the noises.
I found some headphones online that are called noise-cancelling headphones. They block out ALL noises. He can wear these while doing homework, he can wear these when he is having a meltdown and just needs quiet time, he can wear these when he reads a book (which he loves to do). They range anywhere from $30.00 up to $200.00. I feel sure I can find him a good pair for under $50.00 (shipping costs included). If this wish wins and I find some cheaper, I will use any left over and let him purchase a good astronomy book.
This wish is very important to me and Justin. I feel terrible that I don't have the extra money to just go buy these. We are still playing catch up from David being laid off and I don't see an end in sight anytime soon. (more)

what i also love about this is the fact that some other parents can benefit from the information for their own families....

Whats the point of attacking the wish, AFTER its been granted. I guess this person has nothing better to do with them selves. I MEAN REALLY!
Not to mention, this person, talks shit to others, nitpicking little things.. there insignificant little thing.

can't DAVID get another job while he is laid off??? Ever heard of UNEMPLOYMENT?? How about FOOD STAMPS....or AFDC?????? Hmmmmmm, I think u r full of it!! Lots of people with families get laid off or even worse and they find away to support their kids and make sure that all of their medical needs are met!!!!!

First of all if you do not have sensory issues yourself, or are not close to someone with them you cannot possibly fathom the effect the environmental noises can have on us. It is hard enough adapting to society with such issues without dealing with assholes such as yourself. Why dont you google sensory issues, aspergers syndrome and read up.........if you can even read. You are are poor excuse for a human being if you cannot accept those of us with differences, which makes us the unique individuals we are.

THREE - My kids medical needs are met and then some. The headphones were a solution to a problem outside of what the doctor can do for him.

If you've seen how we work at CH, you'll understand why I fully support this wish. We all have big headphones here.
Just a note, I have a pair of $80 ones, they work quite well. Most people here swear by the $200 ones, it depends on how sensitive you are to noise. The $200 ones make me feel like i'm in outerspace or something, you do feel like you are listening to white noise with them on. The best thing to do it make sure you can try them on before you buy them to figure out what will work best. I insist on this.

btw, I was a little headcase when I was in school. My mother encourage dme to listen to classical music (no lyrics). I still do this to concentrate.
