We don't want any sympathy.. Just your vote! Katrina happened and as is long over.. now it's time to move on. A good friend of ours who owns JM Entertainment & the atlanta get crunk tv show offered my wife and I jobs.. my wife a graphic & web design position and me security position because I use to be a pro wrestler, night club bouncer and owned my own security company! Now my wife and I are working from home as the CEO's personal assistant.. I know what your thinking How can you work as her personal assistant if you live in different states? Here's how! She has agreed to pay us to work at home making cold calls or writting proposal when she has a talent show or celebrity networking party coming up! We have a 2000 lincoln towncar signature series that needs minor repairs and headlights.. the headlights are $200 on ebay and promove.com is getting us an apartment in Atlanta for threee months free but a $300 deposit gets us in asap! The $300 is all we need to get in this month and for the next 3 months rent will be free! Yes we won on Jan. 31st but we still have not recieved the $500 that we won because we don't have a paypal account so the check has to come from canada to new orleans, la (USA) please understand and give me your vote so we can move on!!! The reason we posted this wish is because we now have found someone that's willing to let us use there paypal account if we win and give us the money because we need it now! The wish was changed because we heard on the news not long ago that fema and redcross are helping the victims again asap this time so now we can focus again on getting out of this damn city and move on to a better life!!! And the people that we wanted to give the money to was our neighbors 5 of them to be exact that live not to far from us that trailer were destroyed! But they have informed us that they have or will be recieving financial help so what we wanted to donate someone already did

Sorry, sympathy is all i have to give.
I cannot vote for this wish because what started out as 'a wish for someone else' morphed into a wish for yourself. The giveaway was that it was a naughty wish right from the start.
I truly do wish you and your family well. This community has not forgotten about Katrina, and won't. It is burned into our hearts and minds forever. Please don't use those tender feelings to squeeze votes out of us. Especially since the check is probably there any day.
That being said... life is about second chances. Be a real member of the community. Support people without expecting anything in return. Give constructive, thoughtful comments.
And... maybe... in a while... a LONG while... this community might trust you again.

I can't believe people can be so heartless when 3 beautiful children are involved.. I am just trying to get my wife's career off the ground so our kids won't have to go through financial hardship when they get my age

I worked this year for a few house gutters, painter etc and the person that was contracting the work screwed me!
I need to move my family out of new orleans asap! The crime is way beyond high.. street lights still aren't up and on top of that the job market is poor unless you can gut houses and I can't do that my health won't let me

Your behaviour on this ste over the past few weeks has beenfar from exemplary. You've posted 6 wishes - many all at once - in order to get help for your family of Katrina evacuees. And we responded. We gave you a $500 wish. (I'm sorry if that check hasn't reached you from Canada yet, but it will, be patient).
But it wasn't enough. You keep on wishing again and again and again. You spam other people's wishes in order to get your own granted. You comment on wishes that have already closed, saying things like "Great Wish! You should Win! Here, vote on mine!" when clearly you hadn't read the wish. It's gotten so bad that some peope here have started calling you "Husband in Greed" behind your back.
And then when we're not granting your wishes fast enough, now you go make a wish for other people? I'm sorry, but I am skeptical. Your behaviour has not engendered trust from the community - far from it!
So when you posted this wish, I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt. I may not trust you, but I do trust the Red Cross. So I challenged you publicly to donate this wish, if you won, to the Louisiana Red Cross. So you sent me a private message saying "The money will be donated to the red cross," but when I demand you make that statement publicly, you refuse. Then you say you're going to follow Tyler Perry's example and not give the money to charities but instead directly to victims.
So, I call BULLSHIT!
This wish is all about you. I do not trust you, I do not trust you to get the money to the deserving if you win, and I certainly am not inclined to give you any more money.

When we comes down to give evacuees money he will go into the communities and give it to the people that he see actually need the money not give it to a charity because some people that really needed the money didn't get it because of people that maybe didn't lose their house or belongings filed false reports and took the money.. So if you give it directly to the people you'll know for sure that they will get it! These people a few streets from us their trailer went into there house.. now they have no trailer and have to live in a half repaired house

My wife doesn't need a compouter she has 2 for her graphic & web design and as for her job as a personal assistant she is working from home as the CEO's personal assistant by only making cold calls for her when she has upcoming talent show etc. When we get to Atlanta then that is when she can do more but she gets paid for only making call backs for this very reason we are in different states.. The lady is trying to help us and by being her personal assistant she can only make calls you don't need to be in atlanta to do that! And the atlant get crunk tv show is a cable access show a free airing show in other words so they are struggling themselves now but not much they are trying to get on the cw network
i just do not understand how you can be in a fema trailer in NO and your wife who needs computers for her graphic design work also works as personal assistant to a producer of an atlanta TV show.. atlanta is quite far from NO.. i lived there i know..
I think the robinhood fund should add a delete button to the comment section and the wall post so that members can delete the people's comments that they want to delete or block members from voting on their wish that the know are going to vote low because the person dislikes them!
I for one have not voted on your wish yet - because I am still waiting for you to plublically pledge that you will donate the money to the Red Cross.
I have to agree with Rachel and Hagrid both. I thought you had this great job to move to and start over. Why are you still in a trailer in New Orleans?
