I have ason with autism as well and he didn't speak till he was over 3. He is high functioning at first he was diag withh pdd nos but then changed to autistic. I hop eyou win I never had one but I bet it would have help soo much good luck :)
of course anyone who doesnt think this is a good wish shame on him cause good communication is a need not a privelege so u have my 5 and check out my wish well ya please

i hope you are able to get your son his board. I know how hard it is. I am a daycare provider and have a non verbal child in my care. Plus I have 2 boys of my own on the spectrum ... Hang in there.. God Bless you!!
