Not so bad when you have the right equipment. I can crank out a good meal with just counter top appliances. In the summer I can bake on my grill and cook over open fire. Nice thing about toaster ovens too, is when it gets too hot in the kitchen...you can bring your stove outside.

I was doing great for a while. I went for a year using just a little tiny 4 slice which will only hold an 8x8 cooking pan. It meant I had to cook one mean, then serve the kids, then cook another meal for Amy and I. The next year I found that full size toaster oven and it was great and I had found a 10 in pan with no handles that would fit into it but now it's dead and everyone is getting pretty bored with what I can cook with a failing electric fry pan and boiling pot. I guess after 2 years daily heavy duty use these things just don't last.
