Yeah they are very handy. I haven't had a stove in nearly two years and at this point it really doesn't matter if I get a stove since I can't stand up to cook anymore anyhow. My son has sawed the legs of my butcher block so it's lower and I can sit to cook. The counter top appliances are perfect for me.
