My mom and dad moved to New Boston, TX in June last year after my youngest brother graduated school.
We have been trying to get our finances fixed to where we can go see them, but things keep popping up. We are now in the process of having to put a mechanical septic system down because the one that was there collapsed. That's about $3000 we are having to fit in somehow between now and the end of July. Our budget is down to the penny with no extra money anywhere to splurge on anything. My boys have not been able to see their grandparents since they moved. They talk on the phone every other night, but you know it's not the same as seeing them and getting that big, special hug/kiss that only comes from a mawmaw/pawpaw. They miss them so very much and try to stay in touch with phone calls and pictures in the mail, but I know they would be sooo excited to be able to go see them. It breaks my heart when my oldest asks me can we go to their house and I have to tell him no because we don't have the money. The look on his face hurts me so bad inside that I feel like I have failed him in providing this for him and his brother. Thank you raynestormwolf! My dad told me it takes about 5 hours driving to get there from where we live, without stopping for anything! I hope we can get to go see them soon. We miss them so very much!
