My father came to America from Cuba in the 70's or 80's I was born May 2, 1984 he went to prison when I was about 5 or 6
yrs old by the time I turned 7 my mom had passed away... She and I would visit him in prison alot! I lost touch with him for a very long time but in 2002 I regained information on what prison he was in and his address.. In december of 2003 I discovered he was released to the us immigration holdings where he would go before a cuban board to determine if he would stay in America or be deported... I was told to write a letter and send it to the board.. I wrote the letter but before I could mail it off explaining that I am his daughter ( US BORN) I was told that he was no longer in their custody... I just need some closure I'm not sure if he's still in america or in cuba I'm not sure if he's dead or alive.. I'm so scared because I heard that when you sneak out of the country and are deported back you are killed because you desserted your country I have not seen my father in 18 years... and what hurts so bad is that I look exactly like him everytime I look in the mirror it's like i'm looking at him but in reality I'm so far away from him...His nickname is Isy I believe his real name is Isidoro Vega Moreno or Isidro Moreno Vega... I was sent a letter from his sister in cuba in 2004 but it was in spanish and I could not understand what the letter was saying on the letter was even some phone numbers One number had hermana next to it meaning sister I have a sister that looks exactly like me as well over in cuba that I have never met in this letter was her number.. but hurricane katrina came to my hometown of new orleans and the letter was destroyed by flood waters along with everything else we owned. When I had the letter I did a couple searches online and found out how to call cuba I called the number but I guess I did something wrong or had the wrong type of calling card. A year before my dad was released I wrote and told him that I was married and that I had a baby on the way but never got a chance to send him pictures because he was deported!! If you have any information on how to find him.. or what steps I need to take or who I need to call, that would be worth more than all the money in the wo (more)

I've never met my sister but have seen a picture of her when I was young!
I really would like to be reunited with my dad! it's been 18 yrs.. my mom died in 1991 not long after my seventh birthday it's been so hard I just need closure! or to know if he's dead or alive

I think that it is terrible that you have to submit your wish to such ridicule, speculation and unkindness. I've looked at the rules and no where does it say that you can't have more than one wish at a time, wish every week, or make comments on your wish to update others. If someone doesn't like you or your wish, hit the forward button and move on. If I could vote more than 5 stars for you I would just to prove a point. Nox is having a $3.00 wish run next week that totally talks down about you and I am going to report it to RHF. If people can't act like adults, then they really should find a teenage site to go to. I think we really need a forum to discuss these types of things. This is all about commenting on a "wish". This is not about spamming, or whether someone makes too many wishes. A lot of people have more than "one" wish on this website. Ieshia just has this "one" wish. So please just keep comments about seeing her father and sister. This is getting out of hand.
What do you mean by your comment nox? Is it the fact that I post the helpful information that I find that may help someone's wish!!! I post them on peoples wishes because just in case someone else is in the same situation that same information may help them as well by seeing it as a comment on someone's wish!!! I post the info as I find help for that person so if you are referring to the many post I may can understand that and will just try to post all the helpful info I have in just one big comment ok? Very soory if I offended anyone! It's just that I may find info one day then more the next day so I post it as I find it!!! But if it's a bother I will try to post only once!
