Last year I planted lots of plants and rose bushes after we moved into our home.
Out of all that was planted only one rose bush survived. I've always had a green thumb but last year was a disaster. This year I would love to have the funds to plant more rose bushes and flowers in hopes that they will thrive and grow this year.
I am wanting to do this project when the kids are out of school for spring break so that it can be a family activity. I would like to get different colored rose bushes, tulips, elephant ears and some hanging flower pots with plants for the front porch. (more)

Hope your roses grow! I have a black thumb :0). I planted rose bushes many years ago and the only ones to survive were the ones my son planted :p
