I crocheted a bag out of strips cut from used plastic bags. Since it took about 110 bags to make one crocheted bag, it's going to be awhile before I have a set of them big enough to let me stop using store bags, but I use paper anyway. I collect the plastic ones from recycle bins. The crocheted bags are amazingly durable and they stretch enough to hold a lot of groceries.
I have 2 cloth bags.. I love them.. wish everyone would use them
If we all band together we can make a difference. I have one bag. It will be my goal by next week to buy at least 2-3 more for grocery shopping. Anyone else?
Great Wish! I just picked up 10 cloth bags for $10 at my local grocery store to start using. I was surprised at how sturdy and big they were.
This is something I would love to see everyone do to help save te planet.
