Sarcoidosis is a rare inflammatory disease that attacks any organ of the body but the lungs in almost 90% of cases. There is no cause, so there is no cure.

My walk will be video taped and turned into a PSA by a production company out of Los Angeles. That is their donation for the walk a thon. I will definetly post it here when it is done.

They think that I now have sarcoidosis on my vocal cords!!! Just one more system that this disease is taking over. Oh well, better get out everything I need to say while I can still say it huh?!?!?!?

I spend several hours a day either emailing or writting snail mail to large companies. The problem that we run into is that we are working to make our disease nationally recognized. Congress promised this in 1991 and 2002 and has failed to deliver. So Glenda Fulton, who is the found of the NSS, goes to Washington DC many times a year and meets with representatives, congress people and with the NIH. We are making headway, but it is such an uphill battle.
