This wish has been granted!
Yarn to get a head start on this years donations
I have made and sent out nearly 100 hats for this past winter for the homeless and needy
also probably close to 100 hats
for preemies and newborn babies :)
NOW its time to start on this years donations.... This wish will give me a GOOD head start on many hats ..
I would also like to start making some Chemo hats ( beanie type)
I am disabled and dont get out very much-- so this is what I do to keep me occupied and out of trouble--LOL and it helps pass the time

What a very sweet, kind hearted wish! My mom knits the hats for the babies and she has made many prayer shawls, too. I love mine! I just taught myself to knit and have only made small projects. I want to try a prayer shawl and maybe some hats someday soon.

Are there specific types or weights that you need or enjoy working with? I have a few balls of missmatched yarn (meaning I have only one ball of each) that I am thinking I will likely never use and if any of them might be of use to you PM me your address and I will mail them off next time I am at the post office.
