I know what it looks like, but let me tell you up front that I have never touched meth.
I used to have a great smile, I was an oral fanatic, brushing 5 times a day, no joke, and flossing three. My folks kicked me out when I was fourteen, because I didn't want to be a preacher, I wanted to go to a secular school, becuase they had the credits I wanted....
so I was homeless. for a year and a half, I worked and fought tooth and nail for everything I have, but in my struggle, my teeth were lost.
I got married when I still had my smile, had a daughter right after that first year, and I get for them what is needed, but now when my loving wife kisses me, when she gives me those "G-d I love you" eyes... I think.... How can you love me. How can you see through this monster in my mouth? It's kind of a real beauty and the beast.
My confidence is shot. I used to make more money, but now it's like employers want to hide me in the back, and I can't realy blame them, It seems like everything starts with a smile. Help bring back my smile.
The name is ashamed because I don't ask for help, I go out there and get done what needs done, but this has gotten away from me. I want it for myself, to stop the pain, for my self respect.
I want this for my wife, so she doesn't have to look at this to see me.
I want it for my kids, so they are not ashamed when their friends come over.
