My wish is to take my aunt out, I really tried to find something for free that she'd might like but most of them are during my work hours. I don't want to miss work ...I have had a rough couple of weeks... Ever since my uncle passed away and my pup passed away last month. I helped pay for the headstone for my uncle and I had to pay the vet bills. So that put me way behind. My bills are paid and my mortgage is paid. This isn't a sob story to gain votes... I don't want pitty votes I want votes based on what people honestly feel. It's not a need but something I'd wish I could do on my own without help.

My aunt raised me after my mother passed away and gave up so much to take care of me. I love my aunt and I call her mom, because she is my mom no matter what. She raised me to be the man I am today without her I don't know where i would be at this moment.

Since i moved out a while back I have been trying to take her out at least once a month so she won't get bored or fall into depression because she is living alone now. I feel that being there for her is very important. She means the world to me and I hate to see her upset. After, all that has happend this past month I really want to distract her from everything. We are having family drama because of my uncles will. She and I are stuck in between.But it's affecting her more since it's her brother who passed and watching his kids bicker about money is really sickening.

I want to take my aunt to dinner and to watch batman. My aunt is a very odd older woman and I think batman would spark her interest. I think it's best to take her out of the house instead of making dinner. Parks are out of the questiondue to allergies...So I'll find a nice cheap place i can take her for dinner and if we have money left over we can get icecream or something

We have a problem in our house... Mike's Safety...

I put this under the needy catergory because this has become a need... We have 2 large dogs who are our children and they currently have the run of the house. Mike is having a hard time getting around lately due to some complications that have recently come up. He has become more and more unsteady on his feet and we are trying our best to keep him safe at all times while still not keeping our dogs locked up all the time. We found a gate that will fit the opening from the Dining Room to the Living Room so they can hang out in the Dining Room and Mike can be safe (from them tripping him) in the Living Room... The one we found is one that Mike can operate (with his disablities it is hard for him to operate about 90% of the gates on the market) and that will fit the odd sized opening at Target.

We had hoped that this day would never come that we would have to lock our dogs away from Mike because they love each other so much but some days Mike is worse than others and needs to be safe from the dogs "help".

Some of you may remember Endopain, a.k.a. Inny. She has been unable to participate here much due to her endometriosis, a debilitating illness that's a lot like cancer (except it doesn't kill you). I really miss Endo, and I know I'm probably not the only one.

Endo has a birthday coming up in October, and I think it'd knock her socks off if we sent her a surprise birthday gift - a small flower arrangement and a card from all of GoN. Endo has given all she could to this community and I think it would be nice to let her know that she's missed and not forgotten.

Those of you who are relatively new may not know Dee Dee, but if you check out her profile and previous posts, you'll get to know her a little and will see what a great person and friend she is.

Dee Dee has a LOT on her plate right now. She is on disability and is fighting cancer, supporting friends and family members, and maintaining a marriage. On top of that, her stove and oven don't work. I think life is difficult enough when things at home work smoothly. Obviously Dee Dee has other priorities, which is great, but I would like to be able to give her an electric kettle so she can relax with hot drinks when things get to be a bit much.

I've taught stress management quite a bit, and one of the things I emphasize to clients is self-nurturing behaviors. Dee Dee seems to have many positive attributes that help keep her going, but as her friend, it's hard to stand by and not doing anything to make her life better. This wish is my little attempt to improve her quality of life in my own way. Before you cast your vote, please consider how much of a positive difference something so small as an electrical kettle could make in Dee Dee's quality of life. Thanks! (more)

#8 MICROSOFT OFFICE HOME AND STUDENT ..FOR SCHOOL

It is almost that time! Time to register for school! In going over system requirements for the classes tonight, I found out that for one of the certification courses for the degree I have to have Microsoft Word and Power Point. I currently use Open Office, however this is not an acceptable program. Not only that, but NONE of the Windows Vista OS have this included. It has to be purchased seperately.

Luckily since I work for AT&T, I can get an INCREDIBLE discount on the product directly from Microsoft. Normal pricing for Office Home and Student is 99.99-199.99 (depending on where you get it). I can get it for 76.70. With the shipping and tax, the total comes up to around 87.00. Since I am going for Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Software Applications, this program is a must and on the list of requirements.

The program I am enrolling in is called BPCC FAST TRACK, for students who attended and never got to finish school for one reason or another. It is extremely fast paced with 4, 4 week sessions in each semester. That means one class is 4 weeks long then you take the final and move to another class. I am very excited! Please help me get this so that I can finish! (more)

There is an ongoing problem in River Blossom Hills. Homelessness.

Sometimes Sim homelessness is caused by lack of skills to move up to the next level of employment. Sometimes its caused by choosing the wrong chance card and getting fired. Sometimes its caused when a Sim wife comes home and finds her husband is cheating on her with their maid. Sometimes Sims cannot afford a maid and they get gross little flies and roaches in their house, their kids and pets get taken away, and they just hit rock bottom. Anyway that homelessness hits, its devestating.

But, GON, as a community can help! Sims have an amazing opportunity to rent brand new apartments at amazingly cheap prices! No longer will a Sim husband have to choose between his wife and his maid! He can simply live in his house with his wife and visit his maid in her apartment across town. The apartments even come equipped with Murphy Beds and cool Walk In Closets! Sims will be able to visit their resident witch and cast a spell on someone they don't like (bee attacks, natural disaters.... or should I say "supernatural disasters".. muah ha ha). They can live in a fancy penthouse, an overcrowded townhouse, a mobile home.... no longer will Sims need to be on the streets begging for extra Simoleons to buy an "expresso".

We can do this, GON! We can provide low cost housing for unfortunate Sims who have no other option. (Shhh.... yes, I know, there is another option. However, sometimes the Sims creator is just to lazy to build a new house or even to pick one out of the bin, remodel it and furnish it.)

So vote for me to be able to buy Sims 2 Apartment Life today! I promise, I will still come in and chat, just maybe not for the first three or four days lol.

In summary- Its the last game I need for my collection, it comes out August 27th, and I always told you I wasn't above begging lol.

Times Look Bleak In Western Virginalia

Once upon a time in the distant and dreary land of Western Virginalia, there lived a Handsome Young Prince (HYP). HYP lived at the beautiful Castle Ghetto with his mother the stunning, sexy, brilliant, vivacious, fun-loving, witty Queen of Western Virginalia.

The queen was distraught because HYP was afflicted with the dreaded disease of Teenagerism and moaned day and night about the boredom he was suffering due to this, so the queen (the beautiful, amazing queen, don't forget) decided to send HYP on a quest.

"Handsome Young Prince," she called to him in a voice like that of a choir of angels, "I am sending you on a quest to find the fierecest creature alive. I want you to locate the elusive DRAGON and bring one back as proof that you have fulfilled your quest. Only then, will you be allowed to attend the Wii Ball."

HYP whined about how unfair his life was compared to all the other HYPs around, but he had no choice but to complete the quest. He began with no fear because along with handsome and young, he was also a very brave prince. He got that from his mother's side of the family.

HYP came to the land of Hickville and inquired of the local peasants whether they had ever seen a dragon in their land. "No", replied one boorish oaf, "but I know how ta kill 'em. Sprinkle pepper in the left nose hole and the dang thing will sneeze hisself to death." HYP rolled his eyes and moved on.

HYP next arrived at the land of Petshop. He queried the guard at the gate and was happy to hear that the land was teeming with dragons. "Good sir," asked HYP "Is it true a dragon can be killed with pepper alone?" The guard was shocked. "Why would you kill a dragon?" he questioned. "I come from West Virginalia" replied HYP "Where my annoying queen mother has commanded that I bring her back a dragon." The helpful guard informed HYP that he could take a baby dragon back to West Virginalia. It would satisfy his mother and would become a loyal companion.

The HYP took his baby dragon home to Western Virginalia where his mother was happy he had something to occupy his time and HYP was pleased to have acquired a fierce, buy loyal royal pet.

MORAL OF THE STORY: I want to buy J.T. an aquarium setup and baby bearded dragon. (more)

By the time this wish runs, we'll be in our new home. We are so very excited!

When we were evicted, we got rid of everything because we had no where to store our stuff, and no money for a storage shed. So, we're almost starting from scratch. The 'Center' gave us furniture, all but beds, but we're working on those.

We're going to need dishes, silverware, bed linens, cleaners, curtains, a vacuum cleaner, and odd and end things.

I'd also like to get a microwave since we haven't had one in over a year. Ya don't realize how much you use one till you don't have one...LOL

Oh, we also have to get a lawn mower.

I know $100 wont get everything we need, but it sure would help us out a great deal.

I have not had pictures of any of us since Mckinley was a few months old. I had another child since then and the only real picture of her was her newborn pictures. I would like to get the money to get 1 picture of all of us and 2 of Abby and 2 of Kinley and 2 of Annabell. I feel so bad that I have no pictures of them but I could not afford to get them done.
