My husband Stan is in Iraq.
I just lost my job do to a car accident I was in. I could not fight it because I was a flex worker and they said that they could not hold the slot open anymore.
I have been in physical therapy for almost 3 months. For a back injury that I got. I was going to pick my daughter Mattesa up from a school dance. I was yielding to traffic when my car was hit. And our money is so tight right now.
We are behind on everything. Andrew is turning 12 on may 7th. And I think the greatest gift would be to see his daddy walk in the door. Even though I know he is over there helping others. I want him here for his 3 children. I just want my son to have a great Birthday. He already has to be without his dad. But now he probably will not get a present or a party.
And this breaks my heart. His daddy usually takes him fishing on his special day. I have been trying so hard to figure out what to do. We owe 980 in fuel oil and 324 in electric. And with me not working it has really taken a heavy toll on our family. I am not sure what we are going to do at this point. It seems that I am the one paying for this accident. When it was not even my fault. Andrew is a very great young man he has over come so much in his life.
He was born with club foot. He had to wear a cast for the first year of his life. He underwent a 6 hour surgery when he was one.
The doctors said he would never be a fast runner or play football. But this young man has proved them wrong. He has been playing for popwarner football for 6 years. And He came home on Friday saying he got a award for being one of the fastest runners in his class. He does have one foot that is one size smaller and on inch shorter. But that does not stop him.
So My wish is to be able to give him the gift he wants. And since I can not bring his dad home . I wish I had the funds to buy him a great gift and give him his birthday party he wants at the park. Thanks for reading take care.

have you talked to your FRG, the caplin or looked into the emergency funding avaible for the military? I would think you would be able to get help from one of those places...I know my husband got emergency funds when he needed to go to LA to see his brother because he was very sick and having surgery and might not make it..they gave him 700$ he had to pay it back..but a little at a time so it didnt hurt as bad. does your husband have any friends left over here? maybe they could take him fishing...if you want any more info..please PM me...id be glad to help with what i know!
