I just picked up my new rescued foster puppy from a local SPCA.
He is a 4 month old American Bulldog mix. I was told that he had an injured leg but I had NO idea how bad it really was until I got there. I immediately took him to our vet after picking him up and it turns out that his elbow in his front right leg is completely broken in half! He will need a very complicated and expensive ($2000.) surgery to fix it and hopefully the surgery works or he may need his leg amputated. Poor baby !!! The worst part of it all is that the SPCA didn't even examine or touch the leg at all in the 9 days that he sat there before I picked him up! I am apalled! He is scheduled to get the surgery today. Every penny will help since we are a nonprofit, fully volunteer rescue! Please help this baby and put in a vote for him! "No good deed goes unnoticed." Thank you. ***Update- He has had his surgery and after a complicated operation , some pins and screws and $2300.00 he is on his way to recovery :) (more)

Great wish
You are so kind! I hope has a speedy recovery and finds a loving forever home. I hope you are able to recover the vet fees.
good luck
I certainly feel for that poor baby but it sounds awfully irresponsible of an SPCA to not fully inform you of his situation. I'd like to know more about this place so I don't end up inadvertently referring someone to them or somehow promoting them! Feel free to pm me if you don't want to post the info here.
*HUGS* for the puppy!!
