I am the project coordinator/development coordinator for a non profit environmental and recreational center in Vermont.
We have a retreat camp planned for families experiencing the autism spectrum. I have worked long and hard to raise enough $$ for all families to come to camp. regardless of their ability to help pay.
Camp is full! We have a waiting list! We have 25 grad. students coming as volunteers! These are students who will be earning creditable hours towards their own prof. certification as a Speech and language pathologist.
We look like we are going to loose money for the second year. I need a little magic to keep the camp running. I will keep working on it but would love a boost from the community!
Please let me know if you have any thoughts and ideas. I would be glad to tell you more about our program too!
Thanks! (more)

My son has gone to a non profit Autism Camp started by a lady named Kathy. You may want to try and contact her about ways to keep your camp up and running. Shes really nice and I know she'd love to help. The camp is called Kris Camp and you can email her through their site. [ link ]
