My 12 yr old is attending Milton Hersey School starting in August.
His application was excepted becasue we met the low income guidelines. The school is amazing there is nothing that he can not do there which will be great for his future. The sky will be the limitfor him. We have 5 kids so he knows that money is always tight for us and he also knows that while the school funds his education, the parents are required to purchase a bike and calling cards so that they can call home. Last night I heard him saying his prayers and he asked god to send him money for his birthday to pay for his bike and his calling cards and maybe even his brother's stuff too (yes my 8 year old is going to). This kid is amazing he never ever ask for anything for himself. Holiday time rolls around he will tell us to use the money that we have to get things for his brothers. This time I want him to get his wish. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME to make his prayers come true. He really does deserve it. (more)

It's a wonderful feeling to have an extraordinary child like that - one who's not selfish and always thinks of others. Mike's daughter, Evie, is like that. We're sooo proud of her!! I know how heartbreaking it is when you can't give them all they deserve; so I certainly hope things work out for you all.
