I know this sounds greedy - but it's really needy.
We both have good jobs and just moved into a new home that we had saved up for a long time. Right before we moved in, my husband had to have emergency surgery to removed part of his colon (diverticulitis). Insurance didn't pay it all, and he missed more work than he had vacation time and sick days, so all our savings went to medical bills.
His old riding lawn mower bit the dust, so now we have a big yard that he can't tend properly. We can't buy anything until after his next surgery (next month), so we're hoping someone may read this who might be able to help.
My husband is depressed enough about his condition, and looking out at the yard is driving him crazy. Anybody got a used riding mower they want to get rid of??? (more)
