You should totally Win! great wish .i'm a stepparent and at first she lived with her mom.then she came to live with us. i had already raised 4 children. we took her thru school and she graduated high school this year. even her stepbrothers and sistersare proud of the fact shes thier sister and i'm proud to sy DAUGHTER.you'll make it. its all the little things that are going to come togetherand form live and love between you and them.its great tho. i hope i worded this right.lolgood luck and god bless

He is adjusting and learning and trying and he is sincere. If we do not get away from the hectic everyday around here, quality time is harder to invent. Even if it is loading up and going for burgers. SOMETHING has to give. Things are going much better. We simply cannot afford nor manage to find the time to get away from all of the work and stuff here to breathe. We all just need a breather weekend.

You have my support! Wishing you the best. My partner came into a family with 2 kids, one was 10 and one was 14. My oldest is mentally challenged and schizophrenic while my youngest has Fragile X syndrome and related autistic spectrum (Mild). Their father (step father) a man they loved and cherished had been incarcerated 3 years before this. My partner had never had children of her own. She had to learn to be both step mom and step dad. My mom's husband had died. There were no men in our family and it was up to a family of women to raise these two boys. She had LOTS of learning to do...but I am proud to say (and the boys agree) that she is a wonderful parent.
You will be too...patience and listening. Be open to explanations of what works and what doesn't. You will get it and you will be great just because you care enough to want to try.
