Most of you know my son Bug (he has a form of Autism)Well...he has a WONDERFUL hero who happens to be his big sister.
We call her "Bird"! Bird is the best sister anyone could ask for...she takes care of her brother when I'm not around ,scares the s**t out of bullies,helps Bug when he wanders off,has made honor roll and just made Principal's List! She has a huge heart and unfortunatly right now feels a bit like she is tossed aside. Her brother gets most of the attention (even on here) and I think it is her turn! She is 10 and loves anything to do with animals and insists on becoming a vet and rescues Guinea Pigs from a local rescue. My wish is for $50.00....25 for a enviromentalist camp and 25 for her to spend on herself for camp! She is a wonderful girl who deserves this 100%!

*****added...I just got a call for the kids school. My son was hideing because he is haveing trouble with the last day of school changes. My daughter Bird, is sitting under the slide while her brother talks to her. The Para (aide) wanted me to know what a wonderful girl she is...I think we already knew! (more)

WOW. She sounds like a real blessing - and a lot like our Evie, who is 9 and also wants to rescue animals and help them for a living when she grows up. Kids like that are so special! I'd love to design some special animal-oriented artwork, if you think she would like it. Just PM me and let me know if you are. :)
