I had been going to school when my MS hit me.
It caused me to drop out. I was very close to having my second degree this time as a Social worker. I figured that I would not be able to ever go back to school because of my MS was affecting my mind and my thinking.
Through help of my counselor and my OT person I have learned that I can still learn not as fast and I will have to work harder to learn what would have come so easy in the past but I can still do it.
I have applied to the local 2 year college on Saturday I received my award letter to start attending this summer. I was told that in the summer time they do not give out the rest of the money that is left after paying the tuition until the third week of class, that I would have to come up with the money for the book myself.
In the past this would not have been an issue, I could have caught up on things when I got my books however I now need all the time I can get and can not afford to be behind. I am asking for enough money to get the two books I will need right off the bat, the other books I can await on because they are only one two classes and do not start until the 4 week.
