My son is on asthma medication and is about to run out (in just a couple days) and we do not have the money to get his.
Thankfully we do have insurance but that does require copays of $25 per medication. He has 2. Plus I have Bipolar disorder and have two medications that I have been out of for two weeks now (not a good thing!). My copays are $25 as well and I have two meds. I could really use the help getting these meds. Thank you so much for reading and for any help you can provide!! This is my second time wishing for this. I don't know where you are but I am in Abilene, Tx and several of our community programs will cover non- narcotic prescriptions and our local county social services program. Don't hesitate to call your local Dept of Human services and ask for help or resources.

I cannot even imagine what it must be like to have a child and not be able to afford his medication. I hope you find the funds...somewhere..anywhere!!!! A fellow WUAH member.
You might try modestneeds. I'm told they handle cases where help is needed more immediately.
Have you tried contacting some of the drug companies? Some will give the meds at no cost. Might be something to look into. Lotsa' prayers coming your way hon :) I know all about not being able to afford meds *grrr* Be strong ;)
