Hi my son andrew is 12.
He has been playing for popwarner football for 6 years. He was born with club foot and was in a cast for the first year of his life. He underwent a surgery at age one to correct his foot. He was then put in yet another cast for another 6 months. after the cast he had to wear a special shoe that had a leg brace. We were told he would never be a fast runner or play football. He proved them wrong He got a award at school for being one of the fastest on the track. And he loves football. He may have one leg that will always be one inch shorter and one foot on sz smaller. But he does not show it. He pushes himself every day. He may have the scar from the surgery but he has not let that scar him or get him down. I lost my job because of a back injury. This year he will need a new pair of cleats. And new under armor shirt gold or black.The cleats have to be sturdy enough to protect his anckle and they can not be the metal bottom ones as pop warner does not accept those. Everything else is provided by the coach with the sighn up fee. Thanks for taking the time to view this wish for my son. (more)

you have my 5 stars my son has OI which is brittle bone disease its really hard to watch our babies do without, struggle, and be in casts. God bless you both and I truly hope he gets those cleats and body armor. HUGS
