This is my first wish and I don't know which category to put it under.
This wish is not for me.
I have a neighbor who have mental health issues. He can't work at a regular job. He can't drive, so he rides a bicycle. The county was about to take his house away because of back taxes. I took care of that.
The big problem now is that his yard is VERY over grown and he doesn't have a lawn mower. The City keeps giving him tickets that he can't pay. His fines increase every day that his yard isn't mowed. He could keep up with his yard if he had a lawn mower. I found a mower on sale at Lowes for 139.99. I will pay the rest.
PLease find it in your hearts to vote for Gary's lawn mower. (more)

What a very unself wish :) Call a mower repair shop, maybe they can fix it cheap if not maybe they will buy it from you and you would have a little money towards a new one. I would try a new spark plug also, that is the most common cause of a non working mower..... No laughing, I am a country girl.

So, I went to a pawn shop today and bought him a mower. When I got home, it didn't work and the stupid pawn shop won't refund my money...what a crock of shit!! Thanks for the stars everyone!! Please keep them coming :o)

Try craigslist and pawn shops as well, you may be able to find a nice used mower for a very good price.

you must be the best nieghbor. I think lawn are the stupidest thing white man ever invented.
I totally understand this one! We can't afford to keep a mower running and we are always getting warnings then wind up having to pay a drunk down the street $50 to mow our plot to get out of getting $100 ticket. Most of the time we use a machete to chop down the tall stuff. The only place I'm permitted to have my grasses high is on my kennel boarder unless I put up privacy fencing or screen.
Hope you can find some help for your neighbor. I feel for him.
