I would so like to buy an impeachment for shrub.
Because really, we all know he isn't going to be held accountable for his actions or the actions made on his behalf by Sata... er, Karl Rove. So hey! let's buy one and that way at least we can say that justice can be bought!
Oh, wait... (more)

Sorry you didn't win the $1 Liesl, but maybe you will still get the Justice you wish for?
Good Luck
One thing I don't understand is that, the things that are happening with the presidency/economy/world are really brought about by the mass society, not the government (I am not saying that the government is completely not at fault). If people started to fight for better public transportation, better manufacturing methods, better packaging, etc., these huge "evil" corporations/people wouldn't have the power they do now.
If the masses would stop buying SUVs (this is just one example) that they don't need (this is not referring to those that DO need them). If people would refuse to buy genetically engineered, overly packaged foods. If people would walk to the store that is one mile away instead of drive. Imagine that...10 million people say: I am not going to buy an SUV because it is an oil wasting vehicle and I can choose something else...the company would be FORCED to make something else! Or how about another 10 million people saying: I am not going to buy that paper because the company who produced it cuts down trees in the rain forest. If the company has no sales, they will be forced to be more environmentally and socially wise. This same method would work with EVERYTHING!
I am an optimist and I believe that people will come around and treat the earth, animals and each other amazingly well. (Happy music sounds in the background)
:-)
Christine
Think about how many towns have kept Walmart out by protests, Schools with Coke, Trees, OIL, everything...
The comment was made about turning over curruptness it doesn't nessesarily have to be the government, it can be against policy, corperations and others.
People get fooled by propaganda though, and it sucks...
If only you really could buy this.....
Heh, if you could really do that, I'd donate the remains of the college fund. :P
I'm confused. *scratches head*
This is great! Love the video...I remember watching that on TV and worrying about Kanye when he said that!
I'd definitely give to fund this baby!
All of us who speak out are the true patriots of this country.... -
“A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government.” - Edward Abbey
“The government is merely a servant -- merely a temporary servant; it cannot be its prerogative to determine what is right and what is wrong, and decide who is a patriot and who isn't. Its function is to obey orders, not originate them.” - Mark Twain
Out of curiosity, where did the term "shrub" come from?
Oh, and forget impeachment, ask for $5, and send him a great big bag of pretzels!
Think of it like a number line with the good numbers on the left working your way down toward the right.
I like him, I voted for him, and I am proud of it, but I do understand the Vegetation food chain
good luck!
Good Luck! I hope you win!
Liesl, just so you know that I am not against you, I am with you, and I wish you the best, and would take away your troubles if I could, I am raising my vote to a 5. Now mind you, this is NO Package deal, so we get Dick in the Oval Office. Sorry, that's the rules, it's in that paper, what was it called, oh yeah the Constipation. But I'ld lot rather go hunting with Dick then Riding with Ted, ya'know?
Everybody please understand, I meant no disrespect to Liesl, none whatsoever. I adore her courage and she is an inspiration to the masses.
Liesl is more then inteligent enough to recognize that you two can be freinds outside of a politics.
Besides, Liesl rocks, and I am sure she and I can be friends regardless of how we each feel about the Burning Bush, LOL
Maybe you should ask for $2 to get the shrub and Cheney both impeached?
I love this video, it was awesome to see it.
;-)
Liesl, I just sent you a friend request, now you have to go and get all political with this wish and dirty up a man who I would vote for again if I could. I still want to be your friend, but politically, you are sadly deluded by an obvious liberal media that refuses to tell you the truth about our fine President and the wonderful work he has done. I suppose you haven't yet figured out that Hell-ary Clinton is responsible for the sad shape that our medical insurance system is in, and the ridiculously high cost for all medical care?
I hope you still want to be my deluded friend who is brainwashed by the news media's bias opinions, but I am giving this one a 1, sorry love, I can't agree with you on this one. Can we be Non-Political Friends?
Can you tell me about this wonderful work Bush has done?
Nothern California is the land of Yuppies, wine, hybrids, organic food, vinyards, Gay pride, San Francisco (WOOT WOOT), Liberalism and love...lots of love.
But I'm also an immigrant.

My wife has told me a lot about you, and I have grown to love you without knowing you. We just disagree here, and I should have shut the hell up. I am sorry for saying you are delusional. I still think you are watching different information about the President than I am. But I refuse to talk anymore politics. I changed my vote to a 3 out of pure neutrality, can we leave it like that? If you insist I will even make it a 5, but you still won't change my mind about Bush. ;>
Friends anyway?
There are some media outlets which are obviously more right-winged than the other, but what about Fox News and Rupert Murdoch? [ link ]
I really hate to use the term evil, but the kind of views not only political but social views which have been expressed on fox news have been simply horrific to listen to.
From Bill O'Reilly's hateful remarks (which are often unhumane), to Ann Coulter's constant murdering of "political correctness", to Rush Limbaugh's stupidity...it's all... *shudders* enough to make me feel pretty dirty
Iraq is not where -anyone- wants to be.
Don't worry, I totally canceled your vote. Shut up or move into the doghouse.
Further, I believe the Friendships and Politics usually cause losses. I hate that. So if you can disregard my note above, and Liesl, if we can be friends, then I will change the 1 to a 3, that is as neutral as I can be. Deal?
Karl Rove is evil, but I would say that Dick Cheney is much MORE evil *quack*. At least Germany was on the track for wanting to do trial against him for War Crimes [ link ]
Really though, there are lots of people these days to worry about evil; Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly, Tony Snow, Fox Noise, Alberto Gonzales, Richard Armitage..to name a few.
The call for impeachment is vital, however, if you want something done you need to be -very- proactive about it. Contact your state legislature, write letters demand a vote to be brought up. Here is a very good resource to let you know how you can help, what you can do and to check the status per state of impeachment

Eh, I gotta go with Wee Jen. I'm afeered of Cheney, possibly more than I am of the Shrub. Perhaps you could buy some voters a clue instead? lol
This is the best wish ever!
And then we'd end up with Cheney, right?
I'm not too sure about this one...heh.
