My laundry and I are not friends.
It piles up and up and up, without EVER stopping to wash itself. Daily, the pile increases.
Going to the laundromat is a hassle and chews up my limited time (I work a FT job, a PT job, and volunteer on a weekly basis for two organizations-- I am always strapped for time; and, despite all the work hours, for money). The closest laundromat is almost twenty minutes from where I live in a small town. To do laundry takes between 2-3 hours out of my week. I sacrifice doing other things that are important to me, because my laundry needs to be done. It shouldn't be this hard or expensive!
I would like very much to purchase a used washer (and dryer, if affordable) to simplify my life and show my laundry who is boss. No longer will it control me! No longer will it grow and grow in piles and hampers uncontrolled! I will take back my time and my life. I will wash my own clothes in my own house in my own time and will be more productive as a result. The less time I spend on laundry and wasting valuable time at the laundromat, the more I can work for the good of the agencies for which I volunteer.
Attached is a picture of where the dirty-laundry-killer should be. You'll note the absence of anything connected to the dryer vent and the absence of anything plugged into that lonely outlet. Help me rectify this situation! (more)
