I can relate been there myself. Check out your Social Security web site and they have forms on line to apply for food stamps they do give emergency help too. Also try telling your local churches about your situation and they may rally the church members to donate.
I hope this info will help you. I am terminal and on disablity myself so I am unable to give anything except resources that helped me. I do wish you well. Good luck, I do hope you win your wish!!

I know how you feel. And alot of times the food banks give you the same things and they are mostly can goods and what you really need is meet and milk and bread. I will pray for you best of luck

Call 211 United way from either land line or cell phone all you have to do is dial 211 anytime day or night 24/7..
Let them know where you live and what you are looking for and they can help you out.
Also check out craigslist.com and freecycle.org

I'm on disability, too, so I know how you feel...can you get food stamps, by any chance? I still qualify, even with my disability check because of my family (husband and kids). If not, your local welfare department may be able to put you in touch with some agencies who can help (other than food banks, I mean). Good luck!!
