every year since i was a little girl, it's been a family tradition for everyone to meet at grandma's house for christmas
dinner (no exceptions lol ) and with my grandma feeling like she has been run over by the reindeer , with all the health problems and getting to that old age, and the grandkids stressing her, and not being able to work, she just can't do the things she use to..so i would like to be able to buy the food and do the cooking this year for our big family so she can relax and not have to worry.thank you all for taking the time to look at my wish and happy holidays!!! Get everyone involved and then you all can have a huge dinner for really cheap if EVERY ADULT that is going to dinner chips-in but I agree with the wrong category.

Nothing personal. I just think that a Christmas dinner wish belongs in the Greedy category. If you were wishing for food because you had none, then I'd agree with its being in the Needy category. Good Luck.

Why not just have everyone bring a dish? That's the way we do on holidays. I don't think it would be half this much.

Just to let everyone know, Pitypat has changed the amount of her wish this week to $0, because she wants my wish for Supermom and her kids to win. There's no guarantee that my wish for them will win, but, of course, this is an incredibly generous and sweet gesture on her part. FYI, I'm working on getting this wish granted through the forums. If you're not familiar with the forums and would like to come see what we're all about, join us, it's under the Community tab at the top of the screen. I wanted this wish to be granted all along, but her gesture really touched me, and I'm hoping we can get them both granted :).
