As you all know, my daughter Kaila is going through a divorce..
Well Christmas night her soon to be EX came and took the
bed she was sleeping in..Claiming it was his.. (There are no nice words to call him right now except @#$ &*^%)
This now leaves my daughter and grand daughter sleeping on a blow up mattress on the floor.
She surely could use some help.. I'm trying to scrounge up a bed frame, but we could use some help in buying her a mattress and box spring.
UPDATE : We have a bed frame.. Wooden Water bed box like thing, but made for mattresses.. So I have been looking at Craigslist and Free cycle... So far nothing...usable.. but I keep looking

This is a good time of year to be looking for a mattress. Maybe you can find a good sale at a warehouse of some sort where you live. Here, I would check Sears Warehouse online and see if they have any mismatched or seconds for a very good price.

My daughter has moved in with us..she has nothing from her home due to the fact that she left abuse. So I think this is a very worthy wish
She has her home, he can't take that.
He did take most of the furniture as different times, we are slowly trying to find things as yard sales, neighbors and 2nd hand stores...
When he took her bed.. That was the last straw...and on Christmas day.. That was just too much for all of us...
We all do what we have to for our kids.. don't we...HUGS and thanks again

Good luck! He sounds like a real jerk! If he is inconsiderate and selfish enough to take away your daughter and grandchild's bed, then good riddance to him! Your daughter is much better off without him. Best of luck! Here's my 5!

The only good thing that will come out of this is that hopefully we will find a new bed, that his jerk butt didn't sleep in...

Good luck. My kid had been sleeping on an airbed (by choice) but it got a hole that can't be patched so now we're gonna have to try and find her a real bed.
