*~~*I want to continue my WILD spree*~~*
All year long I plan for, wait for, save for and long for, my one wild shopping spree of the year.
I'm addicted to the After Christmas sales.
I buy gifts for all year long and for next Christmas too, not to mention all the wrapping and stuff for next year.
Well this year, I set out on the day after Christmas to feed my habit and......my freakin van was stone cold dead.
I got the battery charged up about 2 days later and FINALLY....was heading out to sooth my craving.
Well, I figured I better stop at the automotive shop and have my battery checked while I was there. Sure enough...DEAD.
I was figuring maybe $50 at the outside so, I still had a lil mad money left to enjoy some retail therapy.
HA....the cheapest one they had was $90. That made my wild shopping spree turn into little more than picking up some basics. :(
There's still a lot of stuff on the shelves that I could make very good use of....if I just had a lil more hard cash to continue.
With any luck at all, I'll also be able to pick up some cheap lil trinkets to offer as prizes for dumb contests on GoN. ;) (more)

I hope you got a good battery, I know a cheap one isn't as safe up there in the cold weather, you for sure don't need to be breaking down in that weather. I love after Christmas sales, and there are still some going on online, as well as in the stores, so good luck!

I know how it feels...so hear is my 5 stars..Our stepFather passed away this CHRISTMAS so we really didn't have one neither the less made it to the after CHRISTMAS sales..NO MONEY :( But hope your wish come true! even if you don't make the sales...you can get somthing in the clearance isle lol. Good luck, I totally scored on Christmas lights for next year... $1.00 a box. That is cheaper than even buying replacement bulbs.

Hope this is a winner Stormy :) I have always wanted to hit after christmas sales..but I am broke after christmas..lol I am broke year round!
If I'm lucky, it helps me from having to spend much of anything when Christmas actually comes cuz, I already have most of my gifts bought.
I've been doing it this way for a lot of years so I have it down to a cycle. Well, except this year. I could have let the battery go and bought the Christmas stuff but, that didn't seem too wise either.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that's voted for me. I really appreciate it.
My kid was at walmart today and said there's still quite a bit of the kind of things I normally buy on the reduced shelves.
Things like bath or perfume sets and candles. Oh, and some of those fancy food sets too.
I use those for birthdays that are early enough in the year that they aren't stale yet.
The year before last I totally lucked out with the Knotts Berry Farm jam sets. I had jams and jelly for myself and as gifts for months. :)

good luck Walmart has theres at 70% off and yesterday people were checking out with boxes of stuff right off the shelf. I was pissed because i was checking out with a 2$ tube of fixodent for my mom lol.

I have an aversion to close contact with strangers, as well as crowds, noise, and fluorescent lighting. Meaning: I am not suited to Boxing Week shopping! I salute your bravery!

I only wish that I could have a spree. To busy paying for thousands to go to school and I work min wage and raise a daughter so don't get mad at what I gave you. I just gave higher votes to some people who were needy not greedy. Sorry!
