Chrissy still has not had any other offers of anyone to watch her children while her and her husband take Nicole to NY. I am nothing, if not a man of my word, but in order for me to fulfill this offer I made to her, I need your help. If anyone has any contacts that can help me get a way there, I am still willing and able to go and help them in the capacity of KidSitter for the few days that she will be gone. My Family thinks I am nuts to put myself that far from home, for this, but it is "This" that compels me to do so. I can't have a job, I can't do anymore for her financially than to vote for her wish, but i CAN and WILL make the trip across 9 states to go stay with her other 6 kids while they are gone.
I have been trying to find a Greyhound Station near her home and have not found one yet. But I will keep looking. I think the Bus might be my best choice if Greyhound went anywhere near their town, but it doesn't get any closer than Philly, and flying would be faster. I am still researching the trip. So if you can help me make this trip in any way at all, please step up and do what you can.
I used Mapquest to get driving directions:
Total Est. Time: 24 hours, 27 minutes Total Est. Distance: 1588.68 miles
This is not feasible, I am looking at a full day of driving, 24 hours, so I would need 6 or 8 hours sleep in the middle. And my jeep with 165000 miles on it might not even make it. So driving isn't really an option.
I found a Round Trip special to fly from DFW to Philly for $166 but I don't have $166 and then I have to get from Philly to their house, and I am sure that Cab fare wouldn't be very cheap either.
Departure from DFW 5/12/07 (Sat) Pre-dawn (12a - 6a)
Return to DFW 5/19/07 (Sat) Early a.m. (6a - 9a)
Time wise, this would allow me to give this family the most help. If anyone can help me make this happen, I know that you will be reworded in some way. I can help her children with homework, and I can entertain them while I am there, I can take care of kids, I love kids. But I don't have the money to get there.

you can only vote it 5 once and have it count, you can go back and change your vote, but voting 5 every day on the same wish doesn't actually have any effect more than the first 5 you gave it.

I will also be putting up a new Picture as my wife says I should not have used the Frankenstein Picture.

It was only because i am Human, and as Humans with feelings and the ability to love, we strive to help others in any way we can. If I am not coming to sit with your children, then anything gained from this wish will simply be sent to you to help recover some of your costs which I know from personal experience will be great, and on-going.

So I am asking you to do whatever you can to make donations directly to the account that Chrissy set up for Nicole. Awesome Wish! It's a great wish, but if you need the money by April 16, you need to explore a different source of funding. It takes 2-3 weeks after the voting ends for any money to be awarded.
Yes I know, I am looking into a way that I can setup a paypal that will directly deposit into my own checking so I can use my MasterCard ATM. Chrissy has stated she can get me a free ride by train through a relative or something. So it's just about eating on the trip. If I have to I will pack a 2 day Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner bag and carry it on the train. So then all I need is a High Minute card for my trackphone to stay in touch with home while I am gone. I am working on it. I know there is a time crunch, but Chrissy has nobody to watch her other children while she is gone, and nobody closer to PA has stepped up, and I have no life, so whether Pooh wants me to do it or not, I will go if I find a way.
