I mean, really, she has lost weight and she just doesn't need to NOT eat with everything that is wrong with her!!! Not to mention all the added stress of worrying about everything.
She connects to the internet thru a neighbors wi-fi connection, and she does focus groups (when she can get there, or move around enough to go ) to try to bring in a few dollars, but she usually has to use that to pay her bank back, cause she had to "float" a check and cause an overdraft that has to be paid back.
I really wish you had won on this wish. I KNOW that you desperately need this stuff most especially the food. Anyone who has to eat ramen noodles every day (and even has her kitties eating them now) NEEDS some help!!
I've give anything if I had any money, I would just make a straight donation to you!!! Or maybe even a food card or something!!!

I've had no income since December, and I'm overdrawn in the bank from paying my car insurance and electric bill past-due. I now have a new electric bill due, owe $$ to the bank for overdraft protection, and have car insurance coming due yet again. I have canned goods and ramen, but could use some fresh fruit and veggies, laundry detergent, toothpaste, cat food and cat litter. I'd appreciate your vote. Thanks!

Thanks Dee, I have contacted Modest Needs in the past, and they will only help if you are in the position of having a steady income and a "one time only" need arises that will not recur, so I didn't qualify, because WC hasn't even scheduled my (4th) hearing yet, so there's no telling when my WC pay will be reinstated (or if). It's just the typical battle of the insurance doc saying what they want to hear and my doctors and surgeons and the independent doc all saying I need treatment and possibly surgery, but the only one who takes precedence in the real world is the insurance doc, even though according to WC the indep. doc's decision should prevail. Same old same old since Nov. 05, while I sit here in pain with no treatment other than meds. But, thanks for your support :).

She was hurt on the job and workmans comp keeps giving her the run around. She lives in constant pain and has to worry constantly on top of everything else, about paying rent and keeping power and food in the house!!!
