Graduated from a art school 3 years ago, with a tremendous student debt.
I thought I would go to a good school and try really hard to get a good job and everything would be ok right, I was wrong! I didn't anticipate the amount of money it would take to successfully get out of school. I have been employed and working hard to pay them off. I have even started my own business which only made it harder to make it from check to check, but I am still plugging away. The monthly payments are becoming daunting and leave me with very little if anything left over to live on. Please help Thanks! (more)

I'm still paying off my own student loans from an art degree earned in the 90's. It cost me $25,000 to go to school 7 years. Now it costs that much for not even a year. I don't understand why the cost of education in the USA is so difficult! I hope you reach your goal!

Thanks for your concern. I actually did think about the cost. The school was great, but I also lived off my student loans. I now see that was a mistake. All together loans where over 120k but like I said I am trying to pay them off. As for Joannes question, I went to school for digital arts, mainly motion design. The work is great and I love what I do, there is potential to make great money. But I made a mistake in taking out so much loans. I really wish I would time for a job back in school, I might not be in this mess. Thanks!
Just wondering why you hadn't considered how much money the school you wanted to go to cost and what the prospects of getting a good paying job are with an art degree?
It stinks that you have student loan debt but I cannot imagine how you have that must. I have a little less then half of that for a B.A in business and my law degree.
