This is my first wish.
I know paint for an apartment sounds lame, compared to some other wishes, but I figured why not. If someone can wish for a weave, why can't I wish for paint?!
This is why...
For most of my adult life, I have lived in apartment buildings. I bet you lived in an apartment once. Whats in an apartment? White walls, thats what! I have lived with white walls for so long, all I want is a little color. We finally moved to an apartment complex where we are allowed to paint, put up wallpaper, pretty much whatever we want to do short of knocking down walls. We traveled to our local Home Depot picked colors and then checked the price of paint and almost choked. (Plus, there are all of the extras... paint brushes, rollers, drop cloths... etc.)
Anyhow, we are the kind of people who live paycheck to paycheck. I'm a stay at home Mom and my husband works two jobs to support us. So in actuality, being able to paint the walls would be a luxury to us. We only really want to paint the living room and my daughters and sons rooms. (2 daughters, 1 son lol, just to clarify) Like I said, I know there are a ton of other wishes, but I figured, why not try?
