Shane Bernier is a little boy who lives in my province, Ontario, Canada.
He has cancer. He will be 8 years old on May 30th. His wish is to receive birthday cards. They can be homemade or store bought, as long as they say "Happy Birthday Shane"

cards make children smile. When my daughter had her surgery she recieved several get well cards. they really made her day, especially when someone tucked a dollar or 2 inside the card. A great wish I hope many send cards.

Just so you all know I have posted this as a bulletin on my MySpace page, my MySpace blog and my LiveJournal page ... and have asked everyone who reads it to redo the same ...... so I hope that I have been able to contribute to this campaign ....
Perhaps if I can make a suggestion to the $2 ... if you get it, instead of redonating it to RHF, perhaps you can send a card on behalf of RHF to Shane and let him know that he is in our hearts ... and we wish him well ...
