I am going to try one last time.
My mom has Alzheimer's and is in the final stages. My husband and I are both disabled with 5 kids. We are struggling against all odds to finish building a house before mom passes away. We currently live in a 60 year old trailer that is falling down around us. It is impossible to keep mom comfortable because it is impossible to heat or cool and she suffers badly from temperature fluxations. There is only one bathroom and she is incontinent and the mold and mildew are causing respiratory problems for all of us. We have been able to gather up most of what we need, my husband has sawed all of the wood himself in spite of a broken back. We have not been able to get shingles or flooring as yet. We have been told that the house could be self-sufficient with a solar system if we can can some how come up with one. We will do the building ourselves one way or another but we have to have the remaining necessary components. Thank you for any help you can give us, every vote counts. (more)
