Rally the troops! You should totally Win! I wish you the best! I used to paint until things got so expensive or I got so broke :) I still have my good brushes. Keep trying on this wish,being able to create is so good for the spirit and what is good for one persons spirit is good for the entire planet. Just my hippiedom opinion.

Yes, the supplies are sooo expensive, that's one reason why I started wildcrafting from objects found in the woods instead - just walk outside and gather what you need! But I want to finish these paintings now. I have a lot of paint, just need 3 or 4 tubes of some colors I have used up, what I mostly need is the canvas and gesso to ground the canvas, and wood for stretcher bars, and linseed oil. I bumped into this site just browsing the net and thought "what the heck, I'll give it a try".

I did see some canvas at odd lot or big lots at much better prices. But I dont know if the quality would be the same. Best of luck to you.
