First of all, I'm putting this under the nice catagory because while it is for me to rent a car, it's actually a birthday
present to my Daddy. He keeps telling me that all he wants for his birthday is for me to come home. Well, I can't move back, so I figured I'd surprise him with a visit!! I've spoken with his girlfriend, and she is willing to give me 100.00 for gas, so that will cover my gas costs. But my main concern is the car rental. I have to rent a car because my husband and I share a car, and I can't leave him for 4 days with no way to get to and from work.
My Daddy is a wonderful man, who put his life on hold to raise me while my Mother was "Growing up". He was known at my school as "Mr. Mom". All of my teachers loved him and just thought the world of him because here he was, a single dad, working full time, and I was at school everyday, clothed, well fed and well groomed. He took me to cheerleading practice, sewed patched onto my uniform, etc. He learned how to braid, just so he could braid my hair for me. He's the best daddy a girl could ever ask for.
So if you can find it in your heart to help, please send a 5 my way, and help me make my dad's bday wish come true!
I've included a link to the page of rentals I found. I'm going to go with the econo. or compact size, in order to save gas. So the price is right around 72.00 USD. The extra funds would go to filling the tank back up upon returning it to the rental place. (Link- [ link ] ) Please help me make my father's wish come true. He's going to be 50 this year, I'm his only child, and I'd love to be there for him to celebrate his day! Of course, all donations are welcome and will go directly to the cost of the rental. Any leftover amount will go towards refilling the tank upon return. If there is any left after that, I plan on getting him a gift.

I live in Indiana and he lived in NY. Unfortunately,I didn't get to see him before he passed. So You definitely have my vote.
