Wish
A wish for Courtney !!!
I'm making this wish for a very great teen age girl named Courtney. She lives in a low income apartment with her nanny and little sister who is 6. This little girl is something else. I don't think I know a 13 going on 14 girl who does so much for her family. Her nanny can't do much so she counts on Courtney to do it, and she never asks for anything. They don't have much but they have each other.
She goes to school everyday, helps her nanny clean the house and then watches her sister. They don't have the money for most of the things they need or want but you will never hear Courtney say anything about it. They live on there nanny's SSI and Food stamps. She doesn't get to be a teen, there s no getting to go to the movies because there is no money. Her nanny is always scared because of the kids mother and other grandmother.
Brenda doesn't have guardianship of the kids because of the age of the youngest child. They say if Brenda takes them to court for the kids that she will never see them again so she doesn't get SSI on the kids but does get food stamps for them. Because DHS knows that she has them and has had them. If it wasn't for the nanny taking in these kids when Courtney was just 1 they would both be in DCS. Courtney likes fairs and Chinese stuff.
You would have to see this little girl to know how great she really is. I could never put in to words, what she does for them everyday. I know she is needing new clothing for summer: shorts, shirts and sandals and the like. Her birthday is on May 31st so its coming up but her Birthday party will be the first weekend of June after her nanny gets her check. I'm may be asking for a lot here but this is one teen girl who I know would love to be able to go get new clothing thats not hand downs.
OK I'm going try and tell why I want this girl to get the money for clothing or whatever she needs.
At the age of one she went to live with her nanny , her Nanny's names is Brenda Kay she is my kids aunt. Well not to much after she got Courtney she went and was going to get guiding ship of her. But the other grandmother called the copes and had Courtney put in a children's home were she stayed for a little over a year. As a deal that was made for Courtney to come back with Brenda she was not to try to get guardianship over her. So till today courtney and Cassie the little sister live with Brenda . When the mother (stormy gets mad at Brenda for not doing what she want she tells her she will take the girls from her. She can now take them to court and get courtney but not Cassie they would take her . Courtney is not the pick lets just say and has to do a lot for being 13 . Casey gets what she wants because if she doesnt she will give her nanny a hard time to go. So courtney gets left out but she doesnt seem to care to much. Ive seen people in the family yell at her for not doing something they want her to . Her dads girlfriend who I dont like calls her names I think its because Courtney is a big time daddy's girl. She hasn't seen her mom in some time now . She is on the streets making money for drugs thats why I'm glad that she doesnt come around them . Courtney cleans house watches her sister and the kids who spend the night with them . She doesnt get to do anything because she has to help her nanny all the time . Good luck to you, and it is a shame how many spoiled kids there are out there who probably have new clothing with the tags still on them hanging in their closet. You have my votes cause I have a godchild the same age in a similar situation, never complains about anything and I try to do everything possible to get her clothing so she does not have to be subjected to the teasing of the brats. I do shop thrift stores for her and my own family. The brats get rid of some really good stuff and the money goes alot further and no one ever knows that we didn't purchase it at full price. I think that is how the rich are rich, lol You have my votes and prayers

That young lady is something else. She needs something nice to happen to her and I hope your wish comes true!
After school is over I'm going to see if her nanny will let her come and play xbox 369 with me maybe she can show me how to play it . I know when I was 18 she would come to my house and the night we would have so much fun that when we had the reg xbox the best game system ever made. She would go in my room and watch the princess diaries , I let her have that movie I got to old for it . My mother in law last year for her birthday got her a pre paid cell phone but she hasn't had Min's on it but I'm thinking about getting her a card for her birthday on the 31 of this month for her phone so she can call her little friends.
It's wishes like this one that make me want a pocket full of money to donate. Every child deserves to have a childhood. She sounds like such a sweetie and I sincerely hope you get this wish.

Good Luck I hope you get some help for the little girl. My daughter grew up quickly and missed a lot of childhood fun, Because She helped me take care of my mom and Dad. She did get to go to movies and things, But definatly went above and beyond the call of duty for grandma and grandpa.
If wishing for her don't help I will find some way of getting her some new clothing for high school by then maybe I will have the money to do so.
I really hope you can get this wish for her, poor girl!
