First of all Katrinia deserves a wonderful wedding.
Second of all money is real tight between the two of us for a couple of reasons Katrinia and myself are both on Social Security. I'm on Social Security because of a kidney transplant and a pancreas transplant because of Diabetes and Katrinia is on Social Security because of Multiple Sclerosis. Our families our also on tight budgets affected by Social Security as well. Between the two of us we have three awesome kids as well. Basically trying to make ends meet and trying to plan and put on a special event for my wife to be has brought me here to see if maybe things could look just a little better for us. We are not planning a terribly fancy shin dig but a happy one. We believe that being poor and happy is far better than being rich and miserable. So we live each day as it comes as if it were our last. With that I'm hoping that people and the community of Robin Hood.com can give us a push in the right direction. (more)

Five stars, good luck, I'm also planning a wedding and everything is expensive. I hope you have a great wedding day! My fiance and I are on a tight budget too. I'm a full time master's student pursing a masters in Counseling on the community track, and my fiance is working his hardest to save money for our wedding. Our parents aren't able to help us because they are on fixed incomes, so I know how hard this is, but have faith and I'm sure you will have a wedding that will make you both happy!

I feel for you, my husband and I are both disabled and it is tough, especially with 5 kids and a mom with Alzheimer's. Money is always tight but you can get through it as long as you love each other and work together. God is a big help too.
