my father had a hypertension attack last month and i made a wish here for prayers.
he did survive (thanks to all ur prayers) but half of his body is now paralyzed and he can hardly move. i do know that there are a lot of more urgent wishes here than mine, but i hope sum1 will have a heart to help... or if u have an old wheelchairs that u think of throwing out.... i will appreciate if u can just donate it for me.... thank you so much. Good luck, I've seen some wheelchairs & other assistive devices listed on Freecycle lately, also on Craigslist!
Best of luck to you. If your dad is on medicare you can get a wheelchair with a prescription for very little or no money.
You might also post of freecycle. We got a new bedside comode for my sister 100% free. Good Luck.

Contact local fraternal organizations in your area~ Elks, Eagles ,Moose lodges , etc... A few years back , I was a steward at a moose lodge, we had a supply of durable medical equipment that we "loaned" as long as needed @ no cost
