My mother's so called aide managed to pour his drink into her tv last Friday causing a electrical short, he then panicked
and jerked on the electrical cord so hard he pulled the entire outlet out of the wall.....result - blew up the cable box which caught on fire, blew up all 3 tv sets, the vcr and the kid's xbox. Granted they were all older hand=me-downs but they beat the heck out of the nothing we have as a result. We were extremely fortunate that my husband and I were home (precisely why we do not run off even when an aide is here) and my husband put the fire out before this whole tinderbox went up in smoke. No one was hurt which is certainly a blessing. If I don't get a break soon I may kill something (one) (more)

when i read it it reminds me a scene from comedy. sorry. i know in real life (and especially for your family+aid) it wasn't so much fun. therefore my 5*
