I am posting this as a naughty wish, Because it is not for me.
I am posting this wish for my mother. She has overcome quite a few battles in the last 11 years, and delt with them the best she could. This one, she is dealing with it, but she knows it will be the last battle she has to deal with EVER. My mother, Sandy, has been through the loss of my father in 1996, open heart surgery in 2001, had to have 5 feet of her intestin removed in 2202, in 2003, she found out she had a brain tumor, they removed that and in 2004 realized that the brain tumor was caused by lung cancer, they removed the mass of cancer out of the lung, and did radiation. In 2005, she found out she has an anyorism in her belly, that they wont touch now because they say she will not make it through the surgery. She has been in and out of the hospital, with blood loss through the bowel, they removed the left side of her colon the last time she was in, that was in February of this year, and then in March, they had to go back in and put in a filter to catch blood clotts, she had one of them traveling through her body, and even after all that, now, we know that her cancer has come back and there is nothing they can do. She is not a good candidate for chemo, and they already did radiation, therefor they can not do it again.
My mother has only one wish, and that is to see me get married before she passes on to be with my father again. We are shooting to have the wedding on Sept. 8th, 2007, but money is very tight. We have planned a very small informal wedding just family and a few friends. However, my fiance is working but is not supposed to be. He found out a month or so ago now that he has to go in and have neck surgery done. He has disc degenerative disease, and his disc in the back of his neck is gone. Its bone on bone crushing the nerve that sends the feeling to his right arm, there for he has no feeling in his right arm except for pain spasms that go into his elbow and fingers. Myself, I am just a case of my own. I did go and get a part time job, against doctors orders, but I have to do something to help support my household, expecially when he goes in for surgery, but i have more health problems than i can list. Please Help!! (more)

One good thing, Mom is back home. Now for the bad, I now have to quit my job that I just got, to help pay for the wedding, because she cant be left alone and it would cost me more than I make to pay someone to stay with her. Again, thanks for the votes.

I want to really thank you all, sorry i left no messages yesterday. It was a bad bad day. I had to take mom to the local hospital, and they sent her by ambulance to Yale New Haven Hospital. NOW as if she is not going through enough, they found a subarachnia hemerage in her brain. I really do not know yet, what is going to happen. I can tell by the voting, that my vote is not going to win again this week, but I would like to thank all of you who tried.

I'm so sorry for what you all are going through [I went through it as a teen w/ my dad; and later with my mama]. Do you have Hospice Care for her; to keep her as comfortable as possible ?? I'm aware of two organizations that grant wishes to terminally ill adults, between the ages of 18 - 65 !!! One is: [ link ] ; the other is: [ link ] !!! PLEASE, try them !!!
They are much easier to get through, when Hospice does the paper work !!!
So - YES - the dreams of the terminally ill -do matter- too !!!

Hey Lori, Steve told me what happened with your mom! Is she ok? You had better call me first thing in the am and let me know.How bad was her arm cut, what the heck was she doing? To many questions i know. Anyway call me in the am. Jen is going to be staying here over night with the kids i told her that if you needed anything just to let you do whatever. I know your not fond of the girl but at least there is someone else here for the night. TTYL

I just want to thank all of you who have already voted for me. I am sorry if this wish gets sent to you more than once, but I am trying to promote it because my mothers health and memory is getting worse by the day. Again, Thankyou Very much for taking the time to vote on me.
My prayers for your mother GodBless Her. My father just Passed away from Lung cancer that spread to his brain on May 2nd 2007. It was a very rough road for him, so I pray that it will not be that rough on your mother.
